I have bad knees and arthritis in spine my garage is about a mile from my home when car goes for repairs or Mot I can usually manage to walk but it’s getting harder so I bought my Scooter i8 what difference this makes and it’s cheap best thing I have bought
Very impressed how bike was packaged & the evident quality of it. Only issue is the weight of bike, I need to put it in boot of car sometimes & it’s quite heavy to lift.
It's a beast, no doubt about it but you will still feel all the bumps. I bought it to minimise puncture risk as the tyres are built that way and punctures are your biggest problem with an e-scooter. I ride to sports club (10 minutes) in built up area so top speed is too fast for me, nerves, safety but off road it may be different.
Forget about the bike bag. It is awful. The velcro attachments are totally insufficient, the zip handles rip off within days; it's cheap and placky. Do NOT add.
You may also have severe problems linking the app to the scooter. This needs a ton of work done by i-Scooter. I've had two scooters both of which just will not handshake with the app. Brace yourself.
But you MUST secure the scooter. E-Scooter thieves are everywhere. The app was supposed to enable remote locking/unlocking which would have been great. It's heavy - 66lbs, quite a heave if you have to lug it upstairs to charge it.
Finally the charging port is terribly shy. It's a real on-your-knees wrestle to get it connected and needs redesign/ better manufacture.
Otherwise the scooter is good, rugged and I love the underside night lights - really cool.
I ordered the M50 from iscooter on a Sunday and it arrived the following Wednesday.
It took 3 and a half hour to unpack and put together and set up exactly as I wanted it.
I must say I'm very happy with the quality of the bike and the spec of the bike for the price point of £639.99.
I'm glad I got the twin suspension for the bumpy roads around where I live because it's much comfier than my other bike that only has front suspension.
I've had the bike for a month and a half now and done 135 miles on it. where I live is quite hilly and I get around 20 / 25 miles out of a fully charged battery when using full power mode.
I've not had any problems in the time I've had the bike really apart from after a 100 miles I had to adjust the gear cable because the gears started slipping but I just tightened the adjuster screw for the cable and now the gear changes are perfect.
Overall I'm very happy with the bike and I highly recommend it.

Great budget e-bike. It was easy to assemble, although I was initially concerned that the 36V battery might not provide enough torque for steep climbs. However, it coped surprisingly well and handled the hills without any problems.
There are five levels of pedal assistance, although the lower levels don't really provide much assistance, so I tend to use the top two levels most of the time. Obviously, this does have an impact on the range, but realistically, you're not expecting to travel 50+ miles on an e-bike at this price point.
Overall, I'm very pleased with it and think it's excellent value for money.
